ACNE launched their 12th issue of the ACNE paper during Couture previews for A/W11 at the historic Salon César Ritz suite. The Paper’s latest issue is centred around -Youth- and celebrates young people who have devoted themselves creatively to their craft from a tender age and give a fresh perspective to old artistic traditions. To celebrate guest such as Alexa Chung, Anna dello Russo, Style.com’s Tim Blanks and Singer Micky Green enjoyed flowing champs and a special private recital from Charlie Siem -virtuoso violinist, who also features in the issue. The products designed by Acne Jeans follow a very minimalistic style which also characterizes other Scandinavian fashions designers such as Filippa K. However, Acne Jeans is known to do things their own way. For example, Acne Jeans abstains from advertising in any fashion magazine, instead they have published their own fashion magazine Acne Paper twice each year since 2005.
During the first six years the collections produced by Acne Jeans were distributed to various clothing stores mainly in Scandinavia. However, In 2003 Acne Jeans opened its first own concept store in the Stockholm shopping mall PK huset. Today the new collection of Acne Jeans can be found in our store!
